Q: How do I reserve a trailer?
A: Fill out our online Booking Request Form. Once we review your request and confirm availability, we’ll send you a contract to sign and a link to make payment.
Q: Do I need to pay anything upfront to hold a trailer?
A: Yes. A $25 reservation deposit hold is required to secure your booking request. This is a card authorization, not an immediate charge.
Q: What happens to the $25 deposit hold?
A:
If your booking is approved, the $25 hold is canceled once you complete your full rental payment.
If you cancel or fail to show up, we may capture the $25 deposit hold to cover lost time and availability.
Q: Do I need to pay in full when booking?
A: Yes. The rental fee must be paid in full before pickup. A refundable security deposit is also required at the time of rental.
Q: Can I cancel my reservation?
A: Yes, but cancellations within 24 hours of your rental date may result in forfeiture of your deposit. No-shows are charged the full rental fee.
Q: What are the different deposits required?
A:
$25 Reservation Deposit Hold – Secures your booking request. Released or applied depending on approval/cancellation.
$200 Refundable Security Deposit – Required at pickup to cover damages, late fees, or cleaning charges. Fully released after the trailer is returned in acceptable condition.
Q: When do I get my deposits back?
A:
The $25 reservation hold is automatically released if your booking is approved and paid in full.
The $200 security deposit is released within 1–3 business days of return, depending on your bank. Any deductions for damage or fees will be explained before release.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit/debit cards through our secure Stripe system.
Q: Where do I pick up and return the trailer?
A: Trailers are picked up and returned at our location in Sulphur/Carlyss, LA. Exact instructions will be sent in your confirmation email.
Q: What do I need to bring when picking up a trailer?
A: Please bring a valid driver’s license and the vehicle you’ll use for towing. Ensure your tow vehicle has the correct hitch size and wiring connection.
Q: What happens if I return the trailer late?
A: Late returns may result in additional daily rental charges. Trailers returned more than 24 hours late without notice may be reported as stolen.
Q: Do I need insurance to rent a trailer?
A: Yes, you must carry valid auto insurance that covers towing. We do not provide coverage for your vehicle or cargo.
Q: What size hitch do I need?
A: Most of our trailers require a 2” or 2-5/16” ball hitch. Details will be listed in your rental agreement and on our website.
Q: Can I haul anything I want?
A: No. Hazardous materials, illegal items, and unsafe loads are strictly prohibited. You are responsible for properly loading and securing your cargo.
Q: Am I responsible for damage to the trailer?
A: Yes. You are responsible for any damage, loss, or misuse of the trailer during your rental period.
Q: What if I get a flat tire or roadside issue?
A: Customers are responsible for handling flats or roadside issues during their rental. Please notify us immediately if there is damage or an incident.
Q: Can someone else tow the trailer for me?
A: No. Only the person who signs the rental agreement and is listed as the responsible renter may tow the trailer.
